First Event in (9) Months

Thank you, to Fifth District Mini Farm, located at 2208 Bainbridge Street for such a warm and inviting atmosphere. This was my first event back as a participant. Many of you know that I have been back in full force with the book club. However, I had not been doing any events for myself as an author/writer, because of my lack of energy.

Well, this past Saturday on the 16th, I made it almost (6) hours in the sun and heat promoting myself, signing books, and networking with some awesome people. This was my first time attending a 5th district event, and I have to say that I enjoyed myself a lot. I am going to share two videos that I did take of the event; in the videos, I show you guys the huge (mini) garden and the beating of the drums theme and reenactment.

My next event will be this weekend 6/23/2018 at the 3rd annual Indie Urban literature Festival@101 east Franklin Street Richmond, VA 23219 from 10 am to 5 pm. I think that I will do okay at this event as well; the key is to pace myself. If you are in the area, stop by my table and say hello.
