HTML~ WHAT IS IT AND WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT?

(HTML) HyperText Markup Language

HTML- a standardized system for tagging text files to achieve font, color, graphic, and hyperlink effects on World Wide Web pages https://en.oxforddictionaries.com/

HTML is what is used to build and distribute your website, pictures, anything you put on the internet. For those whom are familiar with using HTML; they know that it can save you time and money, small business owners, entrepreneurs, and many others us HTML when building their own websites.

HTML looks something like this:

<HTML>

Okay, that is all that I can remember from a web design course I took over ten years ago. However, you get the idea! HTML language can be used to build your website page by page, and image by image. Hell used correctly, it can speed up your sites loading time and make it more secure. As the composer or designer you are in control of what is allowed and wanted on a page. That also means that you control the errors, mistakes, or whatever else finds its self on that page.

HTML once learned is a valuable tool, as I stated before it can help one save money. One can save on the cost of a website, instead of 400 to a couple of thousand dollars to have a site built. Try building your own and see what happens. Doing so would lower your cost, you would only need to purchase and pay for a domain name and server fees maybe. Paying yearly fees would be cheaper, than paying a monthly fee I my opinion, if you can afford to do so. I am not saying that you have to be cheap! Just teach yourself something that can not only aid your business, but also can keep you from being taken advantaged of. Even if you do not build your own site, you will know what it takes, cost, and so on.

A tool that can help you write in HTML or build your own website or is just a great learning tool to know is Komposer. If you do not know it or are not familiar with it, check it out. I do not think that you will be disappointed with it. If your website, pages, or images are not performing the way you want or think that they should. Talk to your website designer, but go to them with a little knowledge about web pages.

As always if you found this Talk Session helpful, share with others and spread the knowledge. Knowledge in my opinion leads to success, smarter choices, and sustainability.

On a side note, I am finally going to Talk about Amazon author pages. I have been using them for the past few months. More on that later! Peace
