SBWC Authors Reading Tour

Southside Book and Writers Club

SBWC members hope that everyone, reading this made it safely, through the Hurricanes and Tornadoes that struck the Carolinas and Virginia this week.

SBWC wanted to update everyone about the book club and the awesome stuff that is happening right now. Starting October 6th, 2018 SBWC will be on an Authors Tour that will run until November 17th, 2018. Several of our members are writers of all genres; from poetry to motivational and adult fiction.

The club will start out at The Belmont Library in Richmond Virginia, and continue on each weekend at another five locations in the City of Richmond, Virginia. The clubs schedule is below. This is a free event to the public. The authors will have their books and other items available for purchase and signing of autographs. We need your help! Please share and get the word out.

Cancellation of Duties

During these two months, SBWC will work hard to complete our other duties. However, we do realize that some dates, will need to be canceled, due to the tour. Those dates and cancellations are listed, below, and we will update the information on our Facebook page as well. We thank you all in advance for your support and love during this time. This is our first reading tour, and SBWC is very excited. SBWC members felt that it was only right to start our learning/tour here at home in Richmond VA.

October 20th – Independent book review by members (No meeting)

October 27th – Writing Workshop canceled because of the tour

November 17th – Independent book review by members and Writing Workshop canceled
