I was given an Advance Reader Copy of The Gospel of Uriah

Uriah is a child who has had her world torn apart. She loses the only family she knows and loves in a brutal way. The book of Uriah deals with love and loss and something so much deeper…PTSD. No person; especially, a child can just get over seeing constant acts of violence, and not be affected.

Uriah’s is one of these children; she is not as tough as she seems. She uses a loud mouth, verbal abuse, and attitude to hide how scared she really is. Uriah will have to grow up fast if she wants to survive. Even though the character is young, I wanted her to have some common sense or develop some.

Recognize good help for precisely what it is and stupidity for the same. This was a good read; I had no problem following the storyline. Uriah’s life is rough, intense, and there will be moments when you will want to shake the crap out of her...I know that I did lol. I can see The Gospel of Uriah becoming a great series.

As most know I don’t do long reviews and I try not to tell the story. I will tell you if I like a book or not, I like this one. Uriah's character has a lot of room to grow. I want to see what happens next and how the writer works this MC.
