CATCHING UP ALL THIS WEEKEND!

This was the first weekend in a month and a half that I did not have to attend an event, host a book club meeting or instruct a workshop. Not to mention the numerous other duties that come with being a self-published author, wife, mother, nana, doctor, referee, snake fighter, gardener, etc. you get the idea right! So it is now time for me to play some catch with other areas of my life and business. First, I decided to start with my book reviews.

BOOK REVIEWS

This has been my weekend to catch up on books that I am reviewing for the book club and personal. I do not even plan to write this weekend. I am just going to read! I currently have three books that I need to finish:

THE CHILDREN OF DUTY & JUSTICE
GUILTY
LOVE, LIES AND HEARTBREAK

Normally, it is nothing for me to read two or three books a week. However, I have been so tired and drained from my other responsibilities that I just could not. So this weekend and the following week ahead will be dedicated to reading and posting reviews. After that, I need to jump to my website.

WEBSITE

Besides the books that I needed to finish up. I also had to update my website with information, pictures, and new SEO information. This was just some of what I did on my site! Check it out when you get a chance and let me know what you think. I love bold, deep, and vibrant colors. Most people get that impression when they visit my site, also my love for butterflies (I DO LOVE THEM). You should visit a butterfly park, and you will see what I mean, beautiful creatures and graceful in flight. Next on the list is social media.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Where do I start, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or Pinterest? I did not include my website in the category of social media, and that was intentional. Whenever I work on my website, I focus on only that and what needs to be done to it. When I update my social media sites, I tend to have all sites open jumping from one to the other. I will update my personal page on FB, check out family and friends. Then move on to the book clubs page and update the information and list our July and August schedule. Everything I do on Facebook basically will be done on my other social media sites.
