I asked myself several times, what would I do in Janice's place? I kept asking it over and over again, as I continued to read this powerful story. This book mirrors some of whats going on in today's street. This is not a black book, but a society book. The writer gave a voice to every character in the story; from the killer,to the deceased, to the parents, and law enforcement officials. Everyone had a voice, even an opinion.

I felt very sorry for the killers wife, who had to turn a deaf ear and a blind eye to what actually happened. She was smart enough to know that not every black person, wants to steal, hustle, or whatever. However, she made her bed and decided to lay in it. Again this story is powerful, in my opinion a damn good read.

View all my reviews
