Meeting Place: Hull Street Library, 1400 Hull Street Richmond, VA 23224
Purpose: Bring together readers and writers
Mission: The mission of Southside Book and Writers Club (SBWC) is to promote diversity in reading and writing. Dedicated; to the advancement, education, and self-discovery of all writers, readers, authors, and self-publishers.
Guidelines:
Read and Review books of all genres (Diversity)
Critique, not criticize the work of another author (promote growth)
Post book reviews on public websites such as Amazon.com, Twitter, and Goodreads.com
Host and participate in events such festivals, readings, and
Support each other/with projects
Share information about writing, reading, publishing, editing, and proofreading
Develop strong community ties

SBWC is looking for open minded, grown, and serious individuals only! If interested, come out and join us.
If you are interested in the group reviewing your book, we accept Microsoft Word and pdf formats. Gifts are accepted as well; we leave that up to the author (please note that you have to gift to each member)
Currently the club reads one book a month, this gives members 4 to 6 weeks to read and review
Reviews are honest and the opinions of each club member
