Publishing Platforms ~Part Two

Whether you’re a self-published author or with a publishing house. Decisions have to be made as to where to publish, your materials. Below I have listed several sites that may interest self-publishers. Those who are with a publishing house may not have to make this decision. For the sites below; I have not included their percentage or royalty payments! We need to learn to do our own research?

  • Amazon

  • Kobo-

  • Smashwords

  • Ingramspark

  • Book baby

  • Payhip

  • Lulu

  • Pubit

  • Booktango

  • MyeBook

  • E-Junkie

  • Blurb

  • Scribd

  • Gumroad

  • Readwrite.com

This list is from over a year ago; when I was first searching, and figuring out how to publish my book. Some of these companies may or may not be open now. Information changes at a fast pace nowadays.

Note: Many of the percentage and royalty amounts are/will be based on the price the author sets for their book. Wherever you decide to publish, remember to think about the reach of that company or organization. I am not saying that you will automatically generation a booming income that will allow you to quit that day job. However, the network you choose may offer you more viability as an author.

As always, if you found this Talk Session beneficial, please share. We know that knowledge is power!
